Research Areas
Research Interests
My research interests focus on the strategic deployment of micro-Phasor Measurement Units (μPMUs), communication infrastructures, and Phasor Data Concentrators (PDCs) for enhanced distribution network monitoring. I am particularly interested in optimal placement methodologies to maximize observability, accuracy, and resilience under cost and communication constraints. My work also explores data synchronization, latency-aware communication architectures, and hierarchical PDC designs to support real-time state estimation, fault detection, and power quality monitoring in active distribution networks with high penetration of distributed energy resources.
