Research Interests
Dr. Sayantan Sil’s research interests lie in materials science and condensed matter physics, with a primary focus on functional materials, nanomaterials and electronic materials. His work emphasizes the synthesis, characterization and application of advanced materials for electronic and energy-related devices. He is particularly interested in the structural, electrical and magnetic properties of materials, thin films and radiation-matter interactions, including cyclotron-based material modification techniques such as Positron Annihilation Spectroscopy (PAS). He also explores the integration of materials science concepts into electronics, semiconductor devices and emerging technologies.
