Research Areas

Research Interests

My research interests lie in optoelectronic devices, photonic crystals, and nanophotonic structures, with emphasis on the design, modeling, and characterization of photonic crystal–based sensors and integrated optical devices. I work on understanding light–matter interaction, electromagnetic wave propagation, and band-gap engineering in periodic optical media for sensing and communication applications. My research combines theoretical analysis, numerical simulation, and experimental validation to develop efficient photonic architectures. I am also interested in advanced optical materials, nano-structured devices, and emerging applications of photonics that bridge fundamental research with practical optoelectronic systems.
