Research Interests

My research interests lie at the intersection of Diaspora Studies, Intersectionality, Ecocriticism, Gender and Race Studies, and Memory Studies. I explore how displaced identities negotiate belonging through narratives shaped by migration, cultural memory, and ecological spaces. My work examines literature as a site where race, gender, environment, and historical trauma intersect, revealing power structures and marginalized voices. I am particularly interested in how memory—both personal and collective—functions as a tool of resistance and survival within diasporic communities. Through interdisciplinary frameworks, my research seeks to foreground sustainability, identity, and justice in contemporary literary and cultural texts.
