Research Areas
Research Interests
With my research experience, I would like to undertake further research activities in the following directions:
• Multimodal Saliency Detection: To extend SOD to thermal, infrared, and hyperspectral images for applications in surveillance, medical imaging, and remote sensing.
• Weakly/Semi-Supervised Learning: To reduce the dependency on large-scale labeled data for SOD by using self-supervised or few-shot learning approaches.
• Cross-Modal Saliency Detection: To use text, audio, and visual cues for more robust saliency models in video analysis.
• To develop lightweight SOD models optimized for mobile and embedded platforms, beneficial for robotics applications.
