Research Interests

My research interests span solid-state lighting, embedded systems, and intelligent sensing technologies. A major focus is on high-power phosphor-converted white LEDs (pcLEDs), including junction-temperature measurement, lumen maintenance, degradation analysis, and useful-life prediction under tropical operating conditions. I am actively engaged in LM-79/LM-80 compliant testing, accelerated aging, and reliability modeling, with growing emphasis on machine-learning-based prognostics. My broader interests include IoT-enabled healthcare and assistive devices, smart energy systems, image processing, computer vision, and deep-learning applications for diagnostics, monitoring, and smart automation, as reflected in my interdisciplinary publications.
