Research Interests
My research interests span Indian Writing in English with a focus on historical and cultural studies, Tagore Studies, and contemporary engagements with ecology and science. I examine human–nonhuman relations, atmospheres, climate change, and ecological imaginaries in Indian and diasporic texts, situating them within global environmental humanities. I am equally interested in Diaspora and Expatriate Studies, exploring questions of identity, belonging, and cultural negotiation. Alongside literary research, I work in English Language Teaching, including phonetics, ESP, language acquisition, business communication, and language skills, with a pedagogical emphasis on soft skills, behavioural competence, and interpersonal communication.
