My master’s research focused on the application of 2D finite kinematic analysis to objectively evaluate lower-limb movement patterns. The study explored how biomechanical variables derived from 2D motion analysis can quantify functional performance and movement quality, offering a clinically feasible alternative to complex motion-capture systems. Emphasis was placed on translating kinematic findings into meaningful clinical insights to support assessment, intervention planning, and outcome evaluation in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. The work highlights the growing role of accessible movement-analysis tools in evidence-based physiotherapy practice.
