Research Interests

Research objective is to focus on renewable energy related energy management, transmission and distribution systems and on other areas of power system application. The aim is to gain more in-depth understanding of optimization techniques and various simulation methods while exploring its possible applications in artificial intelligence and related engineering applications by incorporating them into the power system problems. Interest lies in soft computing, meta-heuristic optimization, load flow, transmission system, distribution system, network reconfiguration, loss-cost optimization and reliability enhancement, smart grid thus making the main application areas as power system operation and control, renewable integration, load forecasting, smart grid operation.
