Research Interests

The objective of my research is to investigate nuclear isomers using the shell-model framework. These nuclei offer valuable insight into nuclear behavior at different excitation energies, spin states, lifetimes, and particle configurations. The study will focus on neutron-rich nuclei in the region between the closed proton shells Z = 28 and Z = 50, where recent experimental data are available. By comparing theoretical predictions with existing measurements, the effectiveness of modern shell-model interactions will be evaluated. Furthermore, the predictive capability of the shell model will be tested by estimating the structure of unconfirmed nuclear levels, contributing to a deeper understanding of isomeric states in this mass region.
