Research Interests

My research interest lies at the crossroads of medical instrumentation, embedded systems and smart health technology that are based on noninvasive cardiovascular monitoring. I concentrate my research efforts on the design and development of impedance-sensing systems (hardware) and biomedical signal processing (software), as well as AI/ML-driven diagnostic and predictive models for cardiac and oncologic applications. In addition to developing wearable and point-of-care devices, and creating medical informatics systems, my work is also focused on finite element modeling, and translational research that leads to the development of deployable clinical solutions. I have a specific interest in using co-design of hardware and software with data-driven algorithms to create cost effective, reliable, and scalable health care solutions.
