Research Interests
My research focuses on sustainable, high-performance polymer composites reinforced with natural fibers and graphene. I investigate banana, jute, flax, hemp, sisal, kenaf, coir, corn, and pineapple leaf fibers as macro-reinforcements in epoxy matrices, emphasizing fabrication by hand lay-up and advanced dispersion strategies. My work integrates mechanical, thermal, chemical, and morphological characterization using tensile, flexural, impact, TGA, DSC, FTIR, XRD, SEM, and EDAX analyses. I further apply machine learning algorithms to optimize composition–property relationships and predict performance. The overarching goal is to develop lightweight, multifunctional, and environmentally responsible hybrid composites for structural and engineering applications while advancing data-driven composite design methodologies.
